WAGS Presentation at The Gathering Place

The Wisconsin Academy for Graduate Service Dogs (WAGS) will be presenting a history of the organization and discussing how dogs are trained for service on Wednesday, January 25th. The discussion will take place at The Gathering Place, 715 Campus Street, Milton, WI. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:45 before the program. Reservations are required and the cost is just $5.00, which in includes a donation to WAGS.

Enjoy a fish and chicken buffet this Friday, January 20th, at The Gathering Place in Milton.

Tickets are $13.00 for adults and $11.00 children under 12. They can be purchased at the door.

Menu includes tender marinated roast chicken and white flaky Alaskan cod (fried or baked) served with fresh baked pumpernickel rye rolls, creamy cole slaw, and mashed potatoes, coffee or iced tea. Beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet will be served from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Milton 4K - 6th Students Fundraising for the Splash Park Next Week

Milton students are going to help raise money for the splash park next week! Below is the announcement from the school district.

Students in grades 4K - 6th are invited to take part in a competitive fundraising activity across the district to promote the Goodrich Square Splash Pad. At the end of the school day during the week of January 23rd through January 27th, monies collected by all grade levels that day will be counted, added by grade levels across the district, and the winning grade level will be announced the following day. Competition will continue throughout the week. Students in the winning grade level at the end of the week will be awarded the grand prizes. All funds raised will be donated to the Community of Milton's Goodrich Square Splash Park.

All funds will begin being collected at each building as of Monday, January 23rd. Any and all money will be greatly appreciated and put to a great use as part of this project. We will accept pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, dollars, etc. Checks for donations may also be sent, payable to: Goodrich Square Splash Park Fund. Once again, all donations will be tracked by grade level each day. While the ultimate goal is to focus on helping the Splash Pad as a whole, our fun during the course of the week will be to compete by grade levels as we collect the donations.

In an effort to help get ready for the summer fun, students at all grade levels will be invited to celebrate by having a "Summer Splash Day" on Wednesday, January 25th. Students are invited to bring out their summer splash pad wear: shorts, Hawaiian shirts, sandals or flip flops for indoor wear only (please note that students should still have appropriate footwear for outdoors and P.E. classes), sunglasses, etc. Lets pretend it's 80 degrees in the shade for the day!!

So, join in the fun and lets start to plan ahead for Summer 2012!

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Milton Police Department are once again proud to jointly sponsor and announce the acceptance of applications for the 2012 Rock County Area Law Enforcement Citizens Academy. The agencies are sponsoring the 2012 Citizens Academy together as part of a joint-venture that allows citizens from throughout Rock County to learn more about the day to day activities of the law enforcement profession, and how as citizens they can actively partner with regional law enforcement agencies to help keep Rock County safe. The Citizens Academy is an 8-week, interactive program that meets once a week, and provides citizens a “hands-on” experience in learning about what it is like to be a law enforcement officer. The course includes various courses of instruction in emergency vehicle operations, firearms training, defense and arrest tactics and allows citizens to be active learners and partners with police officers and deputies as they observe, learn and participate in the many various duties performed by deputies at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and officers of the Milton Police Department. The class is not for any certification purposes, but rather informational in nature and provides an opportunity for learning and positive interaction between our law enforcement professionals and the citizens we serve.

The 2012 Citizens Academy will begin on the final Thursday night in March, and will be held every Thursday evening from 6:30-9:00 p.m. until graduation night which takes place during the third week in May. Instructors for the class are law enforcement professionals from both the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Milton police department. Those who complete the academy will be rewarded with a greater sense of understanding of what law enforcement officers do, how to partner with local law enforcement to keep their community safe, a certificate of course completion and a T-Shirt presented to them on graduation night. The program’s expense has been generously funded by private donations obtained and accepted from previous graduating academy classes, as well as the Milton Police Department Crime Prevention Fund.

Applications for the 2012 Citizens Academy will be accepted beginning on January 16, 2012. Deadline for class registration is February 10th, 2012. Class registration is limited to 35 participants. Applications may be obtained in person at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office or at the City of Milton Police Department. In an effort to contain program costs, applications will not be mailed out and must be picked up in person. Phone inquiries about the program may be directed to either Sgt. Safe Winter Driving Tips and Winter Parking Regulations

As we begin to prepare for our first winter snowstorm, please note the following winter driving tips and reminders from Police Chief Dan Layber about the City's snow parking ordinance.

With the good possibility of snow arriving in the area over the next few days please remember the following when driving on slick roads with reduced visibility. Common sense says to monitor the weather, travel only when necessary, keep your speed down, and drive defensively. Also, prepare your vehicle. Extreme temperatures can be hard on vehicles. Check the fluids, ensuring the radiator is winterized, the gas tank is over half full, and there is plenty of windshield washing fluid. Check tire treads for adequate traction, and replace wiper blades if they are ineffective.

On the road remember the following:
+ Allow extra time for delays and slower traffic speeds.
+ Buckle up and properly secure children in safety seats.
+ Increase the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you. Ice and snow significantly increase your stopping distance.
+ Accelerate and brake gently.
+ Make turns slowly and gradually.
+ Clean frost and snow of all windows, mirrors, and lights.
+ If your car loses traction and begins to slide, steer into the swerve, or in the direction you want to go.

If the City of Milton receives more than 1.5 inches of snow remember that vehicles cannot be parked on streets or in municipal lots until the roadway has been cleared by plows. You can be ticketed if your vehicle is in the roadway during these conditions and the fine is $38. Also, tickets can be issued before the plows start working so please don’t try to guess when they will start cleanup operations.

Press Release from Milton PD: Vehicle Pursuit & Burglary Investigation

Please read the below press release from Milton Police Lieutenant John Conger regarding a vehicle pursuit and burglary investigation in Milton. If you have any information, please contact the Milton Police Department at 757-2244 or the Janesville Area Crimestoppers at 756-3636.

This morning, at approximately 6:46am Officers from the City of Milton Police Department attempted to stop a Green Dodge Dakota pickup truck for traffic violations that took place on Highway 26. Upon an officer making contact at the vehicle, the driver sped away, Southbound on Highway 26. The speed of the pursuit reached approximately 100 mph. The officers terminated the pursuit as they approached the city of Janesville, due to safety concerns and the amount of traffic. The vehicle was last seen Eastbound on Rotamer Rd., from the area of Wal-Mart in Janesville. The driver and passenger were both described as white males, in their 20’s. Both subjects were dressed in entirely black clothing, including black hooded sweatshirts that were pulled up.

Later this morning, at approximately 7:45am, Officers from the City of Milton Police Department discovered a burglary that had taken place at Gopher’s Bar and Grill, located at 229 N. Janesville Street. The suspects forced entry through a rear window, on the West side of the building.

The investigations into both incidents are ongoing. At this point our agency is still attempting to determine if the events are related.

Anybody with information on either event is encouraged to contact the Milton Police Department at 757-2244 or Janesville Area Crimestoppers at 756-3636. You can also text tips to 274637, then JAC + the message. Anybody providing information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

Purchase Your Animal License at City Hall

Animal licenses are available to be purchased at City Hall for $8 for animals that are fixed and $15 for animals that are not fixed. All cats and dogs must be licensed. Proof of the rabies vaccination is required when licensing your pet. Licenses must be purchased by April 2, 2012 or a $10 late fee will be assessed.

Please do not include the payment for your animal license on your check for your taxes. They are run through separate systems and must be kept separate.

Their name will be placed on a donor recognition board that will be located at the Goodrich Square Splash Park. Donation forms that outline the various donation levels are available online by clicking here or at City Hall located on the second level of the Shaw Municipal Building, 430 E. High Street. Forms should be submitted to Community Services Manager Inga Jacobson at City Hall, 430 E. High Street, Suite 3, Milton, WI 53563. Reminder: Cyberbullying Speaker in Milton Tonight

Eight businesses have agreed to offer an item on their menus with a portion of the proceeds going to the Goodrich Square Splash Park.

Milton PD Annual Food Drive with Bucky Badger

On Sunday, December 11th, our agency will be hosting our annual food drive to benefit the Milton Food Pantry. The event will be held from 2:00-3:00pm at Cowley’s Piggly Wiggly, located at 727 S. Janesville St. We ask that those willing to participate bring in non-perishable food items to benefit the cause. As an added bonus, Bucky Badger will be on hand for the event. We would hope that all Badger fans in the community will come and visit with Bucky, and perhaps have your photo taken with him. Please note, it is not required that you bring food items in exchange for the opportunity to meet Bucky.

The Bucky Badger appearance is being co-sponsored by Penn Color and Cowley’s Piggly Wiggly. We thank them for their support of our efforts.

Below is a press release from Milton Police Lieutenant John Conger regarding an upcoming program on cyberbullying at the Milton Middle School.

The School District of Milton and the Milton Police Department are proud to announce an upcoming presentation that we think can be beneficial to our entire community. On December 12th, Professor Justin Patchin, a national expert on cyberbullying, will be on hand to speak to the entire student body at the Milton Middle School. Professor Patchin will also be giving a community-wide presentation that evening at 6:00pm, also at the Middle School, on the same topic.

With the advancements in technology and social networking our children are often victims of this destructive behavior. We feel that this age group is a good target audience to get across this important message and hopefully change some conduct on the part of our young people.

The evening presentation is open to the public. We would encourage parents, and children of an age that are engaging in social networking, or will be soon, to attend.

Dr. Justin Patchin is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. For the past several years he has been exploring the intersection of teens and technology, with particular focus on cyberbullying and social networking. He travels around the country training educators, counselors, law enforcement officers, parents, and youth on how to prevent and address the consequences of cyberbullying. Dr. Patchin is Co-Director of the Cyberbullying Research Center (www.cyberbullying.us) and has written numerous articles on adolescent behaviors online. His co-authored book: “Bullying beyond the Schoolyard: Preventing and Responding to Cyberbullying” was named Educator Book of the Year by ForeWord reviews. He has appeared on CNN, NPR, and in the New York Times to discuss issues related to teens use and misuse of technology.

Professor Patchin’s appearances are being sponsored jointly by the School District of Milton and the Milton Police Department’s Crime Prevention fund.

You are only 3 steps away from being on the Ballot for the Spring Election on April 3, 2012.

1st Step: Complete your Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Registration at Milton City Hall, 430 E. High Street, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

2nd Step: Circulate Nomination Papers to collect at least 20, but no more than 40 signatures.

3rd Step: Turn in completed paperwork by Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.

What if I do not have any experience? No experience is required. However, an interest to serve your community is always an advantage.
What are the time responsibilities? The Common Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located on the lowest level of the Shaw Municipal Building, 430 E. High Street. Alderpersons are appointed by the Mayor to serve on other various Committees/Commissions that meet during the month in the evenings.
Do I have to run a campaign? No. You do not have to advertise or create signage. Some Candidates have chosen in the past to place ads in the local newspaper and/or create signage. This is not a requirement.
Is this a volunteer position? Alderpersons are compensated at $1,200 a year and are paid quarterly.

Snow Parking Enforcement Policies

In a proactive effort to partner with our citizens and our Department of Public works to keep Milton’s streets clear of snow and ice during snow events, the Milton Police Department is informing citizens of our strict enforcement policies as it pertains to Milton’s snow parking ordinances.

City of Milton Ordinance 70-155 (a): “Parking during and after snow storms”. The ordinance specifically states “No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle on any street or municipal parking lot in the city after a snowfall of 1 ½ inches in depth until after the snow from such street or parking lot has been removed, or plowed to the curb.

City of Milton Ordinance 66-171: “No person shall obstruct or encumber any street, alley, sidewalk or public grounds…..”. This ordinance is intended to prohibit anyone from moving snow from their premises and in turn obstructing other’s right of way.

In an effort to be more efficient in our enforcement of this ordinance the police department will NOT be waiting until the snow plows pass vehicles before enforcing the law. Instead the police department will be issuing citations to vehicles noted violating the ordinance as they see them through the course of routine patrol. Simply put, if your car is out on the street and there is more than 1 ½ inches of the snow, per ordinance directive and in an effort to improve our efficiency in enforcing it, Officers will be issuing citations to violating vehicles when they see them, and not waiting until plows have passed by. If vehicles continue to obstruct snow removal efforts in violation of these ordinances, they may eventually be towed. The fine for a violation is $38.00. Also, Officers may write tickets to those that cause an obstruction by moving snow into the roadway or alley, or on to the sidewalk or public way adjacent to their property.

Our objective in this enforcement strategy is not to write more tickets or tow cars, but instead to ensure swift compliance with these ordinances, which were created to ensure the effective and efficient removal of snow and ice from our community’s roadways following snow events.

Update on Johns Disposal Cart Delivery

Johns Disposal will start delivering the new refuse and recycling carts on Monday, December 12th on the south side of the City. They will move to the north and east side. The last carts will be delivered to the north/west side.

Carts for the City of Milton ready to be delivered

The City of Milton will be switching to Johns Disposal for refuse and recycling service in January 2012. Both services will be automated, which means residents will receive two carts - one for recycling and one for refuse.

The new carts from Johns Disposal will be delivered between Monday, December 12th and Friday, December 23rd. All of the carts delivered will be 96-gallon containers. If residents find that they want a smaller size after using the carts through January, residents can contact Johns Disposal to switch to a smaller, 48-gallon container for refuse or recycling. Sample bins are available to view on the landing before coming into the door to City Hall on the second floor. The bins are viewable any time the Shaw Municipal Building is open, during regular City Hall and Library hours.

Attached to the carts will be clear plastic bags with collection information and the schedule for 2012. The only major schedule change is that bulky trash collection will be on the third collection day of the month starting in January. One new service for Milton residents is the collection of electronics (televisions, computers, etc.) on bulky trash days.

The old recycling carts from Waste Management should be collected on the last recycling collection day of the year (December 21st for Green and December 28th for Yellow).

K9 Searches in Milton Schools

Below is a press release from Milton Police Lieutenant John Conger regarding K9 Searches that occurred at three Milton schools today.

Today, in conjunction with the Milton School District, the City of Milton Police Department facilitated K-9 searches at three district schools. The searches began at Milton High School at 9:00am this morning. Subsequent searches were also conducted at the Milton Middle School and MECAS (Alternative School).

Assisting with K-9 units and related investigations were the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the Janesville Police Department, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The search at Milton High School resulted in three arrests;

A 16 year old female for Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), within 1000 feet of a school and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A 17 year old male for Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), within 1000 feet of a school and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

An 18 year old male for Possession, With Intent to Deliver, A Controlled Substance (marijuana), within 1000 feet of a school, Maintaining A Drug Vehicle, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

This is an ongoing investigation.

There was nothing of concern found during the searches of the other facilities.

Remembering our Veterans on Nov. 11th

Although I don't do as many blog posts as I'd like (and quite frankly our Community Services Manager Inga Jacobson is much better at it than I am), I do feel the need to write this post annually, a post that asks all of our Milton residents to take time on Veterans Day and remember those who have served or are still serving in our armed forces.

Working in government often means taking an oath of office. When I think about the words that are read at a Council meeting when we swear in a newly elected official, or swear in a new police officer, they reference words like duty and uphold the Constitution of the United States. Those words depict the values that many in our City spent time defending and deployed in tours of duty fighting to protect. Pincipled values that some even died for.

All of our Veterans who have served in the armed services made many sacrifices, some even the ultimate sacrifice, so that we may live in a great community, in the greatest nation on earth. I am proud to live in a City that celebrates America the way we do here in Milton each 4th of July with one of the best celebrations in the region, and feel fortunate to know so many dedicated service men and women who helped preserve those freedoms we all celebrate annually and enjoy each and every day as citizens of the United States. Please join me in taking time this Veterans Day to thank our Veterans for the many sacrifices they have made and for their dedicated service to our Country. We remain forever grateful for their service.

On October 31st our agency reported our investigation regarding a hit and run that occurred at a local church, located at 910 E. High Street. At that time we indicated that the suspect vehicle was likely a Ford pickup truck and blue in color. Subsequent investigation has revealed that the suspect vehicle is actually a blue Ford sedan that was involved in this incident. This position is responsible for repair of city vehicles and heavy equipment of the Public Works, Water, Wastewater and other city vehicles and will be required to maintain detailed records of all maintenance on city equipment. This position will also assist with snow removal when necessary. Equipment used in the position include but are not limited to, backhoe, front end loader/grader, street sweeper, heavy trucks/snow plow, brush chipper, mowers, various hand tools and street vehicles. This position may also be required to maintain records on a city provided computer.

Mechanic Certification and CDL License are required. Starting salary for this Union position after probation is $22.94 per hour plus benefits.

Improvements Slated for Lamar Park

The City of Milton Common Council recently approved improvements to take place at Lamar Park on the City’s Westside to the baseball diamond fencing and infields through a partnership between the Milton Thunder Baseball Association and the School District of Milton. The work started on the fields this week.

The Parks & Recreation Commission and Common Council approved the use of funds from the Parkland Dedication Fund. Other funding partners in the renovation effort included the School District of Milton who donated $5,000 to the project, and the Milton Thunder Baseball Association donated $2,000. The Milton Thunder Baseball Association has also indicated a commitment to donate dugouts for the renovated fields.

The development of the Lamar Park baseball diamonds is a strategic objective to make the fields playable. Additional and/or larger baseball tournaments could be hosted at Lamar Park when the field renovations are complete.

The Parkland Dedication Fund is funded through dollars received when residential developments were established in Milton.

Spend a Day in Milton on October 22nd!

On October 22, 2011, plan to spend the entire day in Milton. Start by participating in the Dash for the Splash hosted by the Goodrich Square Steering Committee to benefit the Goodrich Square Splash Park. The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk will start at 8:15 a.m. followed by the 5K at 9:00 a.m. Registration will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the South Goodrich Park Pavilion, near the intersection of High Street and Parkview Drive, where the splash park will be located.

Registration for the event has been extended to October 17, 2011. Registration forms are available on the City’s website (www.ci.milton.wi.us) and at City Hall (430 E. High Street). The cost is $15 for one person, $25 for two people, or $40 for a family. Each participant will receive a Dash for the Splash t-shirt. Extra t-shirts can be purchased for $8 each, and additional donations will also be accepted. There will be nine age divisions. First, Second, and Third places males and females in each division will receive a medal.

After the Dash for the Splash, stop by Crossridge Park where the Parks & Recreation Commission will be holding their Annual Crossridge Park Seed Pick. The commission will start at Rotary Gardens in Janesville at 9 a.m., and come back to Milton at 10 a.m. to pick at the Crossridge Park Prairie.

Seed collection is typically done by hand, but some people find scissors/snips helpful. Wear clothes that are appropriate for walking in tall grasses and dress for the weather. Garden or leather gloves are helpful when collecting the seed. Also consider bringing sunscreen and a bottle of water.

The prairie seed collected will be utilized in various locations throughout the City to reduce mowing costs. The prairie grasses and flowers also create a beautiful, natural landscape with plants native to Wisconsin. Those who participate can also take seed home for use on their own property.

Stop by Gophers at The Caddy Shack to have lunch during the first Bash for the Splash from noon to 4 p.m. to raise money for the Goodrich Square Splash Park. Gophers will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from food and beverage sales. Participants in the Dash for the Splash who wear their event t-shirts to Gophers during the event will receive a free round of mini golf. Bob Johnson will also be coordinating an auction of a variety of items that will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. In addition, Gophers will debut their Splash Burger, and $1.00 of each burger sold will be donated to the Goodrich Square Splash Park.

Below is a letter from Pamela Thomas, executive director for the Milton Area Youth Center (MAYC).

The Milton Area Youth Center would like to sincerely thank the community for its continued support. Recently we held our first major fundraiser, a Rummage Sale where all of the items sold were donated from the community. It was a great success, but only because of those who donated, volunteered and stopped and shopped that day.

Milton Area Youth Center is a faith-based, community-supported non-profit organization. MAYC receives no municipal, state or federal funding and relies solely on the financial and in-kind gifts of groups and individuals. In my short time as director I’ve encountered many people whose impression was that MAYC is funded through one designated group, grant or organization, but that is not the case. The success MAYC has experienced up until this point exists because of the generous donations of many groups and individuals. As the number of students and variety of services grows, MAYC’s continued success is even more dependent upon the participation of the community.

There are many ways individuals can join MAYC as we endeavor to provide a safe, positive place for Milton’s young teens to gather. To help provide for our financial needs, individuals can hold a fundraiser to benefit the youth center, become a MAYC Hero by sponsoring a student who attends, give a one-time gift, or include MAYC in their long-term financial planning. Individuals can also save Kwik Trip’s Milk Moola tabs and Glazer Doughnut price labels for us, donate items to the Corner Closet and ask the proceeds go to the youth center, and join MAYC’s Facebook group to hear about other ways MAYC is engaging the community.

Volunteers are another great need at the youth center. With an average daily attendance of 40 students, and new teens coming every day, more mentors are needed regularly just to match the growth in numbers we’re experiencing. Mentoring means simply hanging out with the kids after school anytime between 3:00 and 6:00; playing pool, ping pong, chess or video games, helping with homework or activities. Volunteers are also needed to help with office tasks, to teach new skills and activities and to help in the kitchen. Each day we serve the students a hot hearty snack, which brings me to our third major need.

Food donations are needed on a regular basis: pizzas, hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, sloppy joe ingredients, peanut butter, grated cheese, healthy snacks, carrots, celery, fruit and healthy beverages such as milk or juice are always thankfully accepted. Home-baked goods are a very special treat and are welcomed with enthusiastic appreciation from the teens. Donations of disposable plates, cups, bowls and flatware also help keep our operating costs to a minimum.

MAYC truly is “OUR” youth center; that’s what we work to instill in the students, and that’s how we hope the community will continue to see us as more individuals become aware of and engaged in MAYC’s mission. When teens choose to live a positive lifestyle our schools, our families and our community grows stronger. As the support for this strength continues to come from within the community, I have faith that the community (as well as our schools and our families) will reap the rewards.

Police Investigating Suspicious Fires

The City of Milton Police Department is currently investigating three suspicious fires that were reported between October 10th at approximately 6:00pm and October 11th at 2:00am. The first suspicious fire was at 1046 Nelson Avenue and was reported at 6:18pm. Investigators have determined that the origin of the fire was in the basement of that residence. The fire resulted in substantial water and smoke damage to the dwelling. The subsequent fires were reported today at 2:16am and occurred on the property of 392 E. Madison Avenue. Suspects at that location set afire a motor home and the cab of a Dodge pickup truck. The motor home was a total loss, and there was substantial damage to the cab of the pickup truck.

Precise estimates of the damage is not yet known, however the amount will clearly be in the tens of thousands of dollars.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office and Milton Fire Department are assisting with the investigations.

Anybody providing information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

City to Flush Fire Hydrants

Beginning the week of October 10 through October 21, Milton Water Utility will flush all fire hydrants in the City of Milton to make sure they are in good working order and to help flush sediment out of the distribution system.

If you notice flushing in your area, you may see discoloration in your faucet water. Let it run for a few minutes, preferably from your outside hose connection, and it will clear up. The water is safe to drink. You may not want to do laundry on the day hydrants are flushed in your area.

The Goodrich Square Steering Committee will be hosting the Goodrich Square Splash Park Community Forum at 6 p.m. on October 18, 2011 in the Council Chambers located on the lowest level of the Shaw Municipal Building, 430 E. High Street. SAA Design Group, the consultants for the project, will be giving an informational presentation on the state of the Splash Park and also leading a Community Visioning Session to gather hopes, concerns, and direction for the final plan.

MAYC RUMMAGE SALE FUNDRAISER THIS SATURDAY 8AM-4PM AT MILTON COLLEGE MAIN HALL.

Donations will be accepted Thursday from noon to 7:00pm and Friday from 8:00am-7:00pm. Please pass the word that Friday is the best day to drop things off due to MAYC’s limited storage space. Any items that do not sell will be donated to the Edgerton Community Outreach at 4pm on Saturday.

Volunteers are needed to help set up on Friday (just drop in) and to help during the sale on Saturday.
